Mass Servers

Saint John's of Little Canada invites 5th Graders to serve at daily Mass, and 6th and 7th Graders to serve at the weekend Masses. Duties include carrying the candles and cross to and from the altar, holding the book, helping to prepare the altar and assisting the priest during the Mass. It is a rewarding ministry to participate in our Liturgical Celebrations.

UPCOMING MASS SERVER TRAINING

• All 5th graders are invited to join the ministry of Mass Server to learn to serve the daily 8:00 am Mass. Training will take place on Sunday, October 2, 2:00 - 3:30 pm.
• All 6th graders and older are invited to join the ministry of Mass Server to learn to serve weekend Masses, Holy Days, and Triduum liturgies. Training will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2:00 - 3:30 pm.

Adults are also invited to serve at funerals and at the 7:30 am Sunday Masses. If you are interested in becoming an adult server, please contact Fr. Dave Kohner at 651-288-3265.
